Use Your Dashboard
Your dashboard is built from the focus you choose: Lease Administrator, Lease Accountant, or neither. Each focus gets a preset layout of cards, so your dashboard can look different from a coworker's even in the same organization. A member who holds both personas sees the union of both layouts, with the Lease Liability and Cash Rent Forecast cards kept together. When you hold a persona, its cards replace the baseline cards rather than adding to them.
Choose or change your focus
You choose your focus during onboarding, in the Your Focus step. The field asks "What Do You Focus On?", and its helper text says the choice controls which widgets appear on your dashboard and that you can change it anytime. To change it after onboarding, use the Preferences page from the user menu.
Open the user menu and choose Preferences.
In the Your Focus section, pick the focus you want.
Save your preferences.
Your dashboard now shows the cards for the focus you picked.
The Lease Administrator dashboard
The Lease Administrator layout follows your leases: four My Work tiles that count what is waiting on you, the portfolio those leases make up, your assigned tasks, and the deadlines coming due.
Card | What it shows | What it opens |
|---|---|---|
Open Expirations | Published leases whose term expires in the next 90 days | The Leases list filtered to those leases |
Option Decisions Due | Published leases with an open option notice deadline in the next 90 days | The Leases list with the Open Option Notice Deadline filter applied |
Lease Abstracts to Verify | Leases whose abstract needs your verification | The Needs Abstraction preset in the Leases list |
Insurance Certificates to Request | In-force coverage with no certificate, an expired certificate, or a certificate expiring within 30 days | The Leases list with the Insurance Certificate Needed filter applied |
In Your Portfolio | Leases in Force, Annual Base Rent, and WALT (weighted average lease term). Leases in Force counts leases that are published, commenced, and not ended. Annual Base Rent shows rent per currency, without currency conversion | The Leases list with the In Force toggle applied |
My Task Queue | Up to five open work items assigned to you, ordered by due date, with a link to see the rest | The lease behind the row, or the work item itself |
My Favorite Reports | Report templates for the persona or personas you hold | Running a template saves and opens your report |
Critical Dates & Options | Leases with an open notice deadline 30, 90, or 180 days out or within 12 months, plus notice deadlines missed in the last 30 days | The leases calendar |
Lease Pipeline | Draft, Published, and Commenced as a bar list, with Being Corrected and Being Amended shown as pills below. Each bar is that stage's share of draft plus published plus commenced, and a stage under half a percent reads <1% | N/A |
My Task Queue shows your assigned work; see Work Items, Flows, and the Work Queue for how work is routed to people and groups.
The Lease Accountant dashboard
The Lease Accountant layout follows the accounting: your lease liability, your upcoming cash, and the month-end close.
Card | What it shows | What it opens |
|---|---|---|
Lease Liability | Current balances plus undiscounted payments by year, per currency | The Portfolio accounting overview |
Cash Rent Forecast | Payments due today through eleven months ahead, one currency at a time. When your portfolio has more than one currency, the card pages through them | Nothing. It is a summary card |
My Task Queue | The same card as on the Lease Administrator dashboard | The lease behind the row, or the work item itself |
My Favorite Reports | The same card as on the Lease Administrator dashboard | Running a template saves and opens your report |
Period Close | Progress through the period close | N/A |
Lease Pipeline | The same card as on the Lease Administrator dashboard | N/A |
Establishment Incomplete | Establishments that are not yet complete | N/A |
The accountant dashboard has a Reporting Entities filter. It is a multi-select, and an empty selection means all reporting entities. It applies to the cards that read it, Lease Liability, Cash Rent Forecast, Period Close, and Establishment Incomplete, not to every card on the dashboard.
The Period Close card is a window into the month-end close; see Close Your Books for what happens during a closing.
The baseline dashboard
Members who chose neither persona keep the baseline layout: portfolio statistics plus cards for dates and payments.
Card | What it shows |
|---|---|
Active Leases | The number of active leases |
Annual Base Rent | Annual base rent across your portfolio |
Upcoming Dates | Critical dates in the next 60 days |
What's Coming | Upcoming dates on a horizon you choose: 30, 60, 90, or 180 days |
Upcoming Payments | Upcoming payments on its own 30, 60, 90, or 180-day horizon filter |
These dates and payments derive from the published lease; see Track Critical Dates and Payments for how that works.
How card links work
Each card opens the records behind its numbers, and the total on a card matches the list it opens. A link that carries filters but no named view clears the list view you had remembered, so the filters it carries show their matching results. For how the Leases list and its filters work, see View a Lease's Information.
Who sees which cards
Every card is scoped to the leases your hierarchy placement lets you reach, which is why the portfolio tiles say "in your portfolio". Leases have no owner field, so the only card about your own work is My Task Queue. A card appears only when you hold its dashboard permission and the permissions for the data behind it, so two members with the same focus can still see different cards.
Dashboards are fixed layouts
Dashboards are preset layouts, not personal pages. The Customize Dashboard page has been removed, so you cannot reorder, hide, or reset cards. Your focus and your permissions decide which cards you see.
