Remove is for someone who has joined: it suspends their access and keeps their setup. Revoke Invitation is for an invitation that hasn't been accepted yet: the link stops working.
Remove or Reinstate a Member
Remove a member to take away their access straight away, and reinstate them to give it back exactly as it was. You'll find Remove, Reinstate, Resend Invitation and Revoke Invitation in the â‹® menu on each row in Setup > Users, and at the top of each member's page.
Remove a member
Use Remove when someone leaves or no longer needs access. Their access ends straight away, and their roles, groups and placements are kept so you can bring them back. Removed members show as Suspended.
Reinstate a removed member
Reinstating restores their access, roles, groups and placements. Inviting them again won't work.
In Setup > Users, clear the Status filter to show suspended members.
Open the â‹® menu on their row and click Reinstate.
Resend or revoke an invitation
Invited members show as Invited until they accept, and each invitation has an expiry date shown on their row.
Resend Invitation emails it again.
Revoke Invitation stops the link working. You can invite them again later.
Limits
You can't remove yourself. Ask another Owner or Admin.
Only an Owner can remove or reinstate an Owner, and every workspace needs at least one Owner.
