What Happens After Upload
After you send a batch, each lease PDF goes through four steps and becomes a draft lease for someone on your team to review. Nothing goes live until a person publishes it.
The steps
Checking: we scan the file for malware.
Sorting: we work out what the file is.
Reading: we read the lease into a draft.
Ready for Your Review: the draft waits for your team to check and publish it.
While a file is processing, its row shows the step, for example Step 3 of 4 ยท Reading. When every file in the batch is finished, we notify the person who uploaded it.
When our team has a file
Files our team handles show With Leasecake, and nothing is needed from you in the meantime.
A file sent to Leasecake for a person to look at: someone at Leasecake will have an answer within two business days, and the row says when to expect it.
A lease data file (Excel, CSV or JSON): our team maps it into Leasecake, which can take longer.
Review and publish
Upload Your First Leases explains how to check each value in the draft against your document, work through the follow-ups, and publish the lease. To see where every file stands, use Track Your Uploads.
