Upload Leases in Bulk
Upload Leases takes a batch of files at once and turns each lease PDF into a draft lease for your team to review. You need the Upload documents permission, which Owners and Admins have.
What you can upload
Upload Leases accepts leases and lease data only.
Lease PDFs: the signed lease, with readable text. Each one becomes a draft lease.
Lease data as Excel, CSV or JSON: sent as a Data Import. Our team maps it into Leasecake for you.
Up to 25 files per upload, 100 MB per file and 280 MB in total.
Upload a batch
Click Upload Leases in the top bar.
Drop your files on the page, or click browse.
Check the Files in This Batch table. Click Remove on any file you don't want to send, or Delete All to start again.
Click Send Batch.
You'll see Upload Accepted, and we notify you when every file has finished processing. If you try to leave the page while a large upload is still sending, we ask you to confirm first. Files that can't be sent show Not Added with the reason; Fix a Failed Upload covers each one.
Who can upload
Only people whose role includes Upload documents see Upload Leases. Owners and Admins have it; Member, Viewer, Legal and Integrations Admin don't, and the page is hidden for them. To give someone access, ask an Owner or Admin to add Upload documents to a custom role.
After you upload
Each lease PDF becomes a draft lease. Upload Your First Leases explains how to review a draft and publish it, and Track Your Uploads shows where each file stands.
