Set Your Language and Regional Preferences
Set your own language, date, and number formats on your Preferences page, reached from the user menu. These choices are personal to you: they follow you, not the organization, and your choices take precedence over the workspace defaults.
The first time you sign in
Your first sign-in runs the Complete Your Profile onboarding flow, which includes a required Language & Region step. Once you are signed in, change any of these choices later on the Preferences page.
Change your language and regional settings
The Preferences page is titled Preferences, with the subtitle "Your personal details and regional preferences." All language and regional choices live in its Language & Region section.
Open the user menu and choose Preferences.
In the Language & Region section, choose your Preferred Languages. You can pick more than one and reorder them, but you need at least one.
Choose your Region.
Set Date Format, Long Date Format, and Number Format.
Set the first day of week, measurement system, time format, and time zone you want.
Click Save changes. The page confirms "Your preferences have been saved."
Preferred Languages, Region, and the three format fields are all required, so you cannot save the page with any of them empty.
Your workspace carries its own default locale and time zone settings. They fill in only where you have not set a personal choice, so your Preferred Languages and time zone always win over the workspace defaults.
